Inter and Galatasaray have been unable to strike a deal over Yuto Nagatomo during the first day of negotiations transfer market Gianluca Di Marzio reports.

€2 million separates the two clubs with Inter wanting €4 million to part ways with the defender and Galatasaray only willing to cough up €2 million.

The clubs will meet again in the next few days with the view of closing a deal that will see Nagatomo call time on a seven and a half year spell at the Nerazzurri. The Japanese full back arrived from Cesena in the January transfer window of the 2010/11 season and has since went on to make over 200 appearances in the famous black and blue jersey.

A lack of playing time in the first half of last season had the 31-year-old seeking more regular playing time and that was something he got upon arriving at the Istanbul club, who he made a total of 16 appearances for in the second half of the season.
