Yesterday marked the end of Rafinha’s loan with the Nerazzurri, and as was expected, Inter did not trigger their €35 million redemption option to keep him on a permanent basis. However, despite this, it may not be the end for Rafinha at Inter as per Corriere dello Sport.

His father and agent, Mazinho, was at the headquarters of Barcelona on Monday to try and understand how Inter could keep Rafinha on loan for one more season (with an obligation to buy) but was told that they would need straight cash for his move. So, the Brazilian returned to Catalonia before his future is decided. The possibility that Inter return for Rafinha is likely, as the players has stated he would do anything to move back to Milan.

However, the same loyalty has not been displayed by Joao Cancelo, who has returned to Valencia, and already seems close to a move to the Premier League with Wolverhampton being the only team to make an offer.
