After having exercised their buy-back clause set at €7 million from Swiss outfit Sion regarding left sided full-back Federico Dimarco, Inter now must decide what to do with the player born in 1997.
FcInterNews reports that no decision has been taken and everything has been put on hold, given that the transfer window is yet to open officially. However, according to the report there are two paths the former Inter Primavera player can embark upon.
Firstly, the Nerazzurri could use him as a part payment in other dealings on the transfer market or sell him outright to make a profit on him, either way he would leave Inter permanently this time. The second option is that Inter decide to hang on to the player could return to the Suning Training Centre in Appiano Gentile in exactly one months time to begin pre-season training only this time with an Inter shirt.
Given the players background as an Inter youth team product, Dimarco could prove to be very useful given UEFA’s requirements of a specific number of youth team players in every Champions League roster. Either way, in a few weeks time the future of the now 21-year old should become much clearer.
