With a deal between Inter and Sassuolo over Matteo Politano getting even closer, Gazzetta dello Sport have reassured Interisti that Inter signing Politano would not spell the end for Inter hoping to also sign Malcom from Bordeuax.
While the final figures are still to be worked out with the Neroverdi, reports have began to surface that Politano could in fact undergo his Inter medical within the next two days.
Inter and Bordeaux also meanwhile remain in talks over the transfer of the 21-year-old Brazilian starlet. Inter are hoping to sign him on a loan with redemption option basis but Les Girondins are not so keen on this transfer formula and are looking for either redemption obligation or a straight up transfer now.
Inter still need to agree personal terms with Malcom and if they manage to do so, it could make the deal between the two clubs easier to reach due to the fact Malcom would then appear to have his head elsewhere and Bordeaux would then not want to keep an unhappy player at the club.
