Inter are now taking big steps towards bringing Arturo Vidal to Milano. In the past few hours, the Nerazzurri have unlocked the formula that was needed for the deal to go through, with the cooperation of Bayern Munich.

The “Chilean Warrior” will arrive on the basis of a one year loan with an option to buy, according to Corriere dello Sport. Although, the midfielder only has one year left on his contract and it is prohibited to sign a player on loan in this case, the German club have agreed to extend his contract before sending him to Inter.

With full freedom, Ausilio has yet again proved his skill and has authorisation to write the Germans an initial cheque of €5 million for the loan and then in a year, a further €22 million will be paid. Bayern has greatly compromised on their initial demand of €30 million in cash to accommodate Inter, with whom they have a strong relationship.

Ultimately though, it was the wishes of the player and his family that prevailed, as they were all desperate to return to Italy from a place that never felt like home in Munich.
