A few days ago an announcement was made regarding the partnership between ePrice, an Italian e-commerce company, and Inter. Giorgio Guardigli, Chief Marketing Officer of ePrice, explained to Football & Finance the reasons behind this agreement.

Guardigli stated that: “Inter has a board and a management structure that wants to do innovative things in the world of football, which was one of the key elements that led us to become the Official Online Retail Partner of the Nerazzurri.”

He then goes on to say, “We have three objectives: Firstly, thanks to the agreement with Inter which will last for three years, we are aiming to increase the awareness of the ePrice brand. The partnership with the Nerazzurri will allow us to obtain a more secure position in the market, as well as working on the development of our business. This is also thanks to the relationships that could be established with the other partners of the Nerazzurri, including Nike for example.”

For ePrice, which closed the 2018 financial year with revenues of €189 million and GMV (Gross Merchandise Volume) equal to €253 million, the partnership with Inter represents their official debut in the world of sports sponsorships.
