Aside from the Nerazzurri’s interest in Real Madrid’s Croatian international midfielder Luka Modric, Inter are also working on signing a winger according to Sky Sport Italia’s transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio.

According to the report, the former Lazio player who Inter were linked with heavily in the summer of 2017, Inter have taken concrete steps to sign the former Biancocelesti winger. Inter Sporting Director Piero Ausilio wants to include Italian international winger Antonio Candreva into the deal meaning that the formula of the transfer would be a straight swap where Balde would go to Inter and Candreva go to Monaco.

Sky concludes that so far the parties are negotiating and the green light from the all the relevant parties is still missing so no deal has been reached but talks are ongoing.

Balde joined Monaco last summer for a reported fee of €30 million and featured in 33 matches across all competitions scoring 8 goals in the process.
