Pay attention to the wings tonight, where both Inter and PSV get most of their attacking success from is something that Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport reports in today’s paper edition of the newspaper.

According to the report “Both teams use the wings in order to cross, although the last few performances were a bit different: Inter crosses 26 times per game, 4 more than any of the other teams in the Serie A. Against Tottenham there were 22 crosses, only Liverpool with 23 were better out of the 32 teams in the Champions League. But the passes from Perisic and Politano, together with the combinations with Nainggolan make Inter a bit less predictable, also taking away some heat from Icardi.”

The newspaper then focus on tonight’s opponents PSV cautioning the Nerazzuri as stating that “Inter’s defensive wingers have to pay extra attention, not only because of the fighting spirit and quality of De Jong, but also because of PSV’s threat via attacking wingers Bergwijn and Lozano. The majority of the 26 goals they have scored in 7 games started in that way with fast counterattacks with diagonal runs, with or without the ball, which in turn leads to one-against-one duels that often ends with a shot. D’Ambrosio and Asamoah will not be enough, in order to defend properly the team has to be behind them and help.

Here is Inter’s probable line-up against PSV according to Gazzetta dello Sport:

Inter (4-2-3-1): Handanovic; D’Ambrosio, De Vrij, Skriniar, Asamoah; Vecino, Brozovic; Politano, Nainggolan, Perisic; Icardi.
