Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport presents tonight’s challenge for Inter against a very competitive PSV using chess lingo in today’s paper edition of the newspaper.

According to the report “Inter will use their “Bishops” when attacking PSV tonight, the bishops being the backbone of the team Inter constructed in order to be competitive in the Uefa Champions League. The Nerazzurri relies on the saves of Samir Handanovic, the headers of Stefan De Vrij and the goals of Mauro Icardi, without forgetting, of course, Matias Vecino and Radja Nainggolan.”

Inter will play tonight for an easier path to qualification to the knock-out phase, because starting with two wins would make life in the Champions League easier to handle. Also, Inter can also rely on the history of playing against the Dutch teams: “In fact, after losing against Feyenoord at the San Siro in the return of the UEFA Cup semi-final on April 4th 2002, Inter has played 9 games against Dutch teams, winning six and drawing three. One of the wins came against PSV on December 12th 2007 when Julio Cruz scored the only goal of the match.”
