Luciano Spalletti stopped by Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia after the official pre-match press conference to share his thoughts in Inter’s form.
The former Roma coach stated that: “What has happened to us recently, we have to evaluate tomorrow after the game. I am convinced that through these results, this growth of mentality and character, that the team has the path that we have to undertake in their head do, the primary objective is to maintain this approach that we have shown. We are still missing points due to the difficulty we had in the beginning of the season.”
Spalletti was then asked to share his thoughts on Nainggolan’s form stating that: “Radja has gone down a route made up of matches in which you have to put yourself in the middle of the match. Then he has these rabid runs which are of a high quality. He always wants to put out the maximum from the episodes which he comes across. He is one who always takes on important responsibilities both in recovering the ball as well as when trying to score. Now we need to see if this mentality is skin deep or under his skin. If we lose this mentality after a shower it means that it hasn’t yet penetrated him.”
In conclusion the Inter coach commented on Keita Balde stating that: “I really liked it a lot when he went and complimented everyone in the dressing room after the match. Because if they have made a great performance it is also thanks to those who train with them. He has played less than the others but he has demonstrated that we can trust in him and we hold him closely under consideration.”
