After making several crucial saves in the Serie A fixture away at the Stadio Paolo Mazza in Ferrara against SPAL which helped Inter take all three points, Samir Handanovic stopped by Inter TV to share his thoughts on the win.

The former Udinese shot-stopper began by underlining how hard the match was stating that “Today’s game was a tough one, even for me who had to work hard. But this is what I expected, SPAL is a tough team, especially at home. We were a bit tired, but showed a lot of character, this is a team win above all.”

Handanovic continued by stating that Inter have to keep the winning streak going stating: “We always have to win, and this year we have suffered through a lot of tough games where we have ended up with the three points. After their equalizer, we still remained united and at the end we got the win. And if we would have scored when Keita had his chance, this could have been a totally different game. But in Italy, no games are easy and I repeat: a fundamental victory as the game developed as it did.”
