In an interview with RMC Sport, Mario Sconcerti commented on the recent statements made by former Inter President, Massimo Moratti, who came out to respond to reports linking him with the FIGC Presidency election, Beppe Marotta’s potential move to Inter and Calciopoli.

It was all believed to be an attempt to “reach out” to the current Juventus leadership, which some are now perceiving as the start of a better relationship between the bitter rivals.

Sconcerti stated: “I can’t wait until it is up to Inter to close the question, I don’t understand Moratti’s statement. In the end, Juventus lost two league titles, whilst Inter took one.”

Management may be able to converse on good terms eventually, but how likely is it that both sets of fans are willing to put so many years of torment behind them? Is a civil relationship between the two clubs possible? What will it take to achieve it?
