There are many differences between Inter and Milan in this first part of the season as highlighted in today’s paper edition of Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

According to the report AC Milan has scored more, 15 goals against Inter’s 12 but with fewer players 7 compared to 9, where Inter score more goals during the final part of the game whereas Milan scores more at the beginning of the second half.

There is a lesser difference when it comes to goals conceded as Handanovic and Donnarumma have only let one ball pass them during the first 45 minutes, then the rest of the goals conceded come during the second half, 5 for the Slovenian, 9 for the Italian international goalkeeper.

Furthermore the statistics show that it is hard to score against both these teams from the outside of the penalty area, only one goal conceded by Inter and two by Milan. When Inter take the lead, the team hardly loses points, this has only happened one time out of six.

Milan on the other hand is the team that has lost most points when leading games, two draws and one defeat coming after the team has taken the lead. When it comes to fouls committed Milan is the “nicer” team with only 69 fouls committed and 9 yellow cards, as opposed to Inter who have committed 112 fouls and are the fifth “dirtiest” team.
