In an interview with Inter TV, one of the goalscorers, Joao Mario talked about the game against Genoa: “I tried to help the team with my performance today and I think I managed to do so. We are more of a complete team now, which gives us more possibilities on the field. The roster is important, that is why we can show results like this although a lot of players are changed. We have to have the mentality to take everything one step at a time.”

How important is it to be back scoring again?

“I want to thank the fans for the confidence they gave me and today was an important win, we had a great game and I am very happy to be back at San Siro.”

How much does it help to be at the top of the table?

“We have to focus on one game at a time, then we will see what we can do. On Tuesday we will have a great challenge ahead of us and we have to give everything we have in order to achieve something important.”
