In today’s paper edition of the newspaper Rome-based Corriere dello Sport emphasizes the important role that Nerazzurri captain Mauro Icardi has when Inter host Barcelona in the Champions League.
According to the report: “If the game at Camp Noù served as a tension breaker of the fact that Icardi used to be a Barcelona player, tonight against Barcelona at the San Siro it must be Mauro Icardi’s game. Together with PSG vs Napoli, Inter vs Barcelona is one of the very special games in tonight’s Champions League. With Lionel Messi on the bench all eyes will be on Mauro Icardi and his duel against opponent striker Luis Suarez and more generally speaking on the duel between his Inter against a Barcelona with tons of more experience.”
