Inter’s two transfer targets for the defence are Sampdoria’s Joachim Andersen and Atalanta’s Gianluca Mancini, Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport reports.
“Joachim Andersen is the primary option for strengthening the defence in 2019. With Sampdoria there has already been multiple contacts in order to deepen the negotiations but the Danish central defender is not the only solution for Inter Sporting Director Piero Ausilio for replacing Joao Miranda, Miranda that, despite the recent renewal until 2020, most probably could say goodbye next Summer.
“Another of the players being observed, and especially after what happened in Bergamo on Sunday, is Atalanta central defender Gianluca Mancini. The 22-year old from Pontedera, who has been praised by Marco Materazzi, scored the second goal in the game. Inter can benefit from the excellent relationship between the two clubs that in recent years has seen concluded business both in the world of football and outside of it.”
