Karol Csonto, Milan Skriniar’s agent, spoke to Tuttomercatoweb about the situation of Inter’s Slovakian powerhouse.

“He is happy in the Nerazzurri shirt, he is playing well, but he is aware that there are some difficulties. Inter had won seven games in a row before the loss against Atalanta. I am happy with the results and I am happy he is playing in the Champions League, clearly the goal is to grow together with the team and improve day by day. We are talking with Inter and we are working, but it is something we will have to continuing discussing over the next few months”.

Skriniar took the Nerazzurri by surprise last Summer when he proved to be starting quality and consequently forced Jeison Murillo to look elsewhere. Since that time he has proved himself to be the staple of the defence, either alongside Joao Miranda or Stefan De Vrij. His current wages do not reflect his quality or contribution, so it is fair for him and his entourage to be demanding more, just one season after his arrival, especially with the likes of Barcelona and Manchester United interested.
