Graziano Battistini, Alessio Cragno’s agent, gave an interview to Tuttomercatoweb, regarding the future for his client.

“It’s a shame that so many clubs are looking to foreign leagues for their goalkeepers, because I think there are a lot of very talented ones here in Italy. I am convinced that my client has all the qualities to make the jump.

“For now, he is only thinking about Cagliari, but I hope that if he continues to perform at this level, some clubs will start having to seriously consider a bid for him. Cragno is proving himself and mustn’t detour, he needs to make the most of every opportunity he gets to showcase himself.”

Inter are among a host of clubs reported as interested in the Italian international with a view to making him the long term replacement for current number one Samir Handanovic, who is now 34 and has a contract until the end of the 2020/21 season.
