Corriere dello Sport reveals that both Hetcor and Ander Herrera are being monitored by Inter, on account of their expiring contracts this Summer with their current clubs, Porto and Manchster united, respectively.

While Inter might have their appeal back, given recent results, the club have learnt from their time under the watchful eye of UEFA and won’t turn down the opportunity to make a free signing.

With regards to Hector, Corsport states: “Herrera, a proven leader, has also been able to provide many goals for his team in the Champions League, scoring two and assisting one, over the course of the back-to-back fixtures against Lokomotiv Moscow”. His contract expires at the end of the season, but Inter will have competition from domestic rivals, Roma, who look to reinforce their midfield with some experience after the exchange of Nainggolan, for Zaniolo and Santon.”

The situation of the Spanish Herrera, is described as follows: “Ander Herrera is one of the players that Juventus was able to asses several days ago, as a result of his performance in Manchester United’s comeback at the Allianz Stadium”. Ander hasn’t played much this year and is currently playing out his fifth season with the club, leaving many clubs optimistic about the possibility of signing him, including Inter, who deem a midfielder to be at the top of their list of priorities to reinforce the squad. The Spaniard has so far totalled 169 appearances for United and has the approval of Spalletti.”

On a side note, Inter have already filled their two non-EU spots, so it would be impossible to sign Hector in January, if they wanted to beat the competition early.
