Inter is in pole position for Sampdoria and Denmark defender Joachim Andersen but Inter management must be aware of the competition.
As reported today by Il Secolo XIX, Sampdoria CEO Carlo Osti and attorney Antonio Romei have taken a flight to London in order to meet with representatives of English Premier League giants Tottenham and Arsenal. Both clubs had scouts represented at the Ferraris for the game against Torino last weekend.
Still according to Il Secolo XIX, the negotiations between Inter and Sampdoria are far from closed, Inter management are still very keen on the player and is in pole position amongst the rest of the Serie A clubs, but obviously has competition outside of Italy. Therefore Inter has to speed up the operation, Sampdoria has a huge capital gain in their mind since Andersen only cost them €1.5 million to sign from FC Twente.
Andersen has gained many plaudits this term for his performances for La Samp helping his side achieve six clean sheets in 13 appearances across all competitions.
