Adrien Rabiot’s renewal with PSG is still a mirage and that opens up the possibility for a move to Inter or Juventus, teams that are in the race together with Real Madrid and Barcelona to sign him.

According to Corriere dello Sport, one of the protagonists in the race for Rabiot will be Beppe Marotta. Going after Rabiot will be the first instance of Marotta coming up against his former employers.

As per the report, Inter have an upper hand over the others due to their project. Not only this but Rabiot would be all but guaranteed to start and could partner Marcelo Brozovic, something that none of the other interested parties can offer.

Inter could of course anticipate their competition by going after Rabiot in January, offering PSG a small fee, but in this case Inter has a limited room for manoeuvring. Should Inter manage to sell an important name, Joao Mario for example, this scenario could be possible but then the Champions League list would still remain as an obstacle.
