The official nomination of Beppe Marotta as Inter’s new Administrative Director of Sports Area is getting closer, something that Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport confirms in today’s paper edition of the newspaper.

According to the report: “Within days the official announcement from Steven Zhang regarding Beppe Marotta will come. This means that Zhang will entrust Marotta with Inter’s technical area and the announcement should come at the end of this week or at the latest at the start of the next one. In any way definitely before December 7th when Inter play Juventus which means that Inter, strategically, will let Marotta return to “his” stadium.”

The Corriere continues with underlining that Marotta’s: “vision of football has not changed and it is that vision that the Chinese management wants underlining the separation of economic and football views. So, a new season for Marotta who yesterday had another significant close encounter with Claudio Lotito, held in a relaxed setting far from the previous infected relationship between the two giants. Something that could open up the possibilities for a Milinkovic-Savic transfer, a deal that Marotta failed to close last summer when he was at Juventus.”
