After the heavy defeat in the Champions League against Tottenham, Inter coach Luciano Spalletti stopped by Inter TV to talk about what went down in the 1-0 loss at Wembley.

The Nerazzurri coach began by stating that: “There is bitterness and there is sadness, but when we play we have to put in everything. Whatever has happened is in the past, this are the conditions we must accept.”

Spalletti continued by detailing what went wrong stating that: “We lacked the capacity of playing under pressure, we had some difficulty in handling the ball and when you play on pitches like this it is just something you have to do. At times we lost the ball after having good intentions, trying to make more of the ball than you have room for.

“We had ideas that could evolve from what went down on the pitch, the first was forced, the others came during the game since Mauro took a hit to his thigh and De Vrij maybe did not have 90 minutes in him” Spalletti concluded.
