After the final whistle in the penultimate group stage match of the Champions League between Tottenham and Inter in London’s Wembley stadium, Inter’s Brazilian international central defender Joao Miranda commented on the heavy 1-0 loss in the mixed zone.
The former Atletico Madrid man was disappointed stating that: “This result was certainly not the result we wanted but now we have to move our focus to the Serie A and the upcoming game against Roma on Sunday, which will be a very difficult match.”
Miranda was asked about his own form to which he replied: “I am doing fine at the moment, and even if I play one minute or an entire game I have to practice well since this team has great defenders.”
The Brazilian came on late in the game for Stefan de Vrij and had Inter’s last chance in the game but could not direct his header on target.
