Inter central defender and former Lazio player, Stefan De Vrij stopped to talk to Inter TV shortly after the final whistle of the entertaining 2-2 game between Roma and Inter. This is what he had to say about tonight’s clash that Inter maybe should have won.
“In my opinion, we lost two points tonight. It was a very balanced game that we could have won, that is why we are disappointed with the result. During the final stage of the game, both teams tried to get the win but at the end we just could not manage to get the three points today.
“The reaction after the Wembley game against Tottenham? Although we lost that game, we did not get hurt and today we had a good game with good opportunities to score.”
He concluded by looking ahead to Inter’s next game against Juventus.
“I am really pumped up for that game, I love to play these great game, it will be an incredible challenge.”
