Following reports that Inter are interested in Jorge Mere, FCInterNews.it have spoken with the central defender’s agent Gelu Rodriguez to find a little bit more out about him.

“He is a very strong player, with the maturity of an experienced player, even if he is only 21-years-old. He comes out of situation well with the ball at his feet and he is very good in positioning himself, he is also very competitive and always takes the field in order to give 100%.”

Rodriguez continued the interview by confirming that his client has been subject to bids from Italian clubs recently and shared his client’s desire to play in Italy.

“I can say that during the last two transfer markets, he has been an objective for a couple of Italian teams. Jorge is very attracted to the Italian way of playing football. For now he is very happy at Koln and focused on helping the team reach its goals. Time will tell if his dream of playing football in Italy will come true.”
