Corriere dello Sport believes Radja Nainggolan will not be called up for the squad to travel to Juventus this Friday. As of yesterday, the Belgian was still training separately, making it almost certain that he won’t be involved.

The Ninja has arguably been rushed back from multiple injuries this season, with the latest occurring against Spurs within the first half. Although Borja Valero has played well in his place, the Spaniard does not possess the same killer instinct that Nainggolan has in front of goal. Some fans may even be relieved that Nainggolan is being allowed to fully recover, while others will become more fearful of Juventus without him.

Luciano Spalletti will surely have to answer questions about him in today’s pre-match press conference, so there isn’t long to wait for clarification. What will be interesting, should he confirm Radja’s absence, will be whether the coach uses Borja Valero or Joao Mario in his place and if he sticks to the 4-2-3-1 or alternates to a 4-3-3 as he did against Genoa.
