Roberto Gagliardini analysed Inter’s performance after their defeat to Juventus in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport.

“We did a good first half when we only suffered the last 10 minutes, but we missed two great opportunities and that will punish you against a team like Juventus. We leave the game with zero points but with the awareness of what we achieved during the first 30 minutes, something that gives us some satisfaction in a loss like this.

“After 15 rounds of the Serie A we are far from Juventus, but we have to make a race only competing against ourselves, then in April we will see how far we got.

“My shot that hit the post? Unfortunately it did not end up in the goal, I looked for the diagonal, but if  I would have watched the goalkeeper I could have aimed for the front post. Our problem right now is to be consistent for 90 minutes, having as good of a game as we did during parts of tonight’s game. Obviously today we faced a really strong team, but we have to get better in reading some situations and trying to keep possession instead of going for the breakaway pass.”
