Inter have scouted and are keeping tabs upon Panathinaikos star Giannis Bouzoukis according to a report from To10.gr.

The 20-year-old midfielder has drawn comparisons to Luka Modric for his style of play and after Inter’s failed move for Modric in the summer, they could well go in for Bouzoukis instead.

The Greek U-21 player has made 14 appearances across all competitions this season for a total of 1114 minutes, scoring two goals while tallying two assists. It was while he represented his national team that Inter scout Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Baresi took in one of his performances as per the report. Inter are not alone though and several other European clubs have taken note of his performances also.

Bouzoukis is not the only player comparable to Modric that Inter are interested in either with Dinamo Zagreb talent Ivan Sunjic also understood to be under consideration. Bosnian born Sunjic is currently a Croatia U-21 international and has made 26 appearances across all competitions this season.
