It’s Beppe Marotta’s big day. At 2pm the  board of directors will convene with Suning to officially appoint the new Chief Executive Officer. Inter Media House will release the details of his appointment through their various media channels. This was confirmed by Tuttosport, who also reveal: “Tomorrow, Marotta will be at Pinetina to meet the players and staff, followed by his debut at the San Siro for Inter-Udinese. The real question is how fans will react to him at the stadium, given his recent past with bitter rivals, Juventus.

The former Juventus CEO, is believed to be sharing the role with Inter’s current CEO, Alesandro Antonello, but will take a more sporting role, while Antonello continues his work on the operations of the business. Marotta will most likely be working very closely with Piero Ausilio in recruiting players, leaving the imagination to wonder who the Nerazzurri could sign, using Marotta’s expertise and wealth of contacts.
