Today Inter host Udinese at the San Siro which is Beppe Marotta’s debut as Chief Executive Officer since joining the Nerazzurri. Marotta is hoping for a positive result, following the disappointment in the Champions League.

According to Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport Spalletti is expected to make quite a few changes to accommodate injuries, while also resting players who have played a lot. Notably, Nainggolan is still unlikely to play, given his string of injuries, forcing Spalletti to take extra precautions until he is fully fit and Vecino is unlikely to start as well.

D’Ambrosio will start at left-back, with Vrsaljko back on the right with Gagliardini and Joao Mario will both return as Miranda will partner with De Vrij in the centre of defence. This will provide Skriniar and Asamoah with a much needed rest while the attack remains the same.

Spalletti has been criticised for his faith in Perisic but that doesn’t seem to be affecting his decision. Inter’s probable starting line-up according to Corriere dello Sport:

Inter (4-3-3): Handanovic, Vrsaljko, De Vrij, Miranda, D’Ambrosio, Gagliardini, Brozovic, Joao Mario, Politano, Icardi, Perisic
