Inter will have a scout present at tonight’s Bundesliga encounter between Borussia Monchengladbach and Nurnberg according to a report from Tuttosport.

Inter’s scout will be specifically taking a look at ‘Gladbach central midfielder Florian Neuhaus. The 21-year-old prefers to play on the left in a midfield three but can comfortably play in any position across the midfield line.

He has great physique and has become one of the pillars of Germany’s Under 21 national team. This season he has scored two goals and made seven assists, in 17 games played.

Neuhaus is one of many young profiles that the Nerazzurri are monitoring with a view to a summer move along with Nicolo Barella and Sandro Tonali of Cagliari and Brescia respectively. There are also rumours of interest in Nahitan Nandez of Boca Juniors.

While it’s believed that Nicolo Barella is the priority, his price, set by Cagliari, is deemed excessive, despite the good relationship with the player and his entourage, Inter must evaluate alternatives, should Cagliari refuse to negotiate on their current demand, so keep a close eye on Neuhaus from here on.
