After Radja Nainggolan’s praise of Nicolo Barella yesterday, Corriere dello Sport discusses Inter’s strong interest in the young Italian.

“Inter have a special ally in the race to sign Nicolo Barella. Radja Nainggolan could be the one to unlock the Cagliari midfielders move to the Nerazzurri, who he himself joined last Summer. The two have a lot in common, including their agent, Alessandro Beltrami.”

The biggest obstacle in the this deal will be the Sardinian club, after the clubs President, Tommaso Giulini, valued the player at 40 million euros, a price considered to be exaggerated by Inter’s Chinese owners.

The good working relationship between the players agent and Piero Ausilio, suggests that there shouldn’t be any problems completing a contract for the player, but nonetheless there is still a lot of work to do between the two clubs, which is hopefully where the appointment of Giuseppe Marotta can help get a discount.
