Inter, after years of refusing to sell their top players, could now follow the methods of Beppe Marotta. Skilled in the art of reinvestment, as demonstrated at Juventus, next Summer could be very different to previous transfer windows with the former Juventus CEO in charge.

Tuttosport explain three possible scenarios: At the top of the list there is Ivan Perisic. Having not been able to replicate his World Cup form has greatly hindered Inter’s attacking threat and given that the Croatian turns 30 on the 2nd of February, the feeling is that should a fair offer arrive (having almost entirely amortised his cost), Inter would let him go without much resistance.

Another possibility is Marcelo Brozovic. This Croatian has a €60 million release clause but unlike his compatriot, Marcelo is considered vital by Luciano Spalletti so selling him would no doubt anger the coach, but should someone trigger his clause in the Summer, there is not much Inter could do, unless the players wants to stay in Milan.

Finally, Milan Skriniar is on the edge of a contract renewal, while Piero Ausilio hopes the player can continue to resist the various other offers from big European clubs which are currently falling on his lap. With the likes of Barcelona willing offer around €80 million straight off the bat, numbers like these might be too crazy to refuse.

Mauro Icardi is not featured on the this list because despite his value and the desire of Real Madrid, the captain has stated numerous times that he wants to win something with the club before thinking about (possibly) leaving Inter, as well as the fact that finding a striker who can ensure as many goals as Mauro would be an extremely difficult task.
