The race between Inter and Juventus for Francisco Trincao, the young star of Sporting Braga, is reaching its climax, according to Tuttosport.

According to the newspaper, Juventus are extremely close to sealing the deal. Contacts over the last few days have been frequent and Juventus want to ensure that Inter don’t have a chance to steal him. Juventus are working with Mendes, with whom they have a well established relationship with, given their recent negotiations concerning Cristiano Ronaldo this Summer. Mendes is now dealing personally with Braga to help Juve find the solution.

According to Tuttosport’s sources, confirmation should arrive shortly, on the basis of a €2 million loan, with an option to buy set at €13 million. Trincao would divide his time between Allegri’s squad and Juve’s Under 23’s in Serie C.

Beppe Marotta is also very interested in the player but without the support of Jorge Mendes, it seems unlikely that there is going to be any comeback in this deal by the Nerazzurri.
