Corriere dello Sport have described how Inter could sign Sampdoria defender Joachim Andersen in a deal this month although it will not be easy due to a few reasons.

Firstly, Miranda must leave the club while Andersen is not the only player Inter have in mind as a replacement for Miranda with the likes of Cristian Romero, Gianluca Mancini and Diego Godin also understood to be of interest.

Inter could sign the Dane on loan with an option to redeem together with a semi-promise that the transfer will become permanent next Summer. Inter are convinced that replacing Miranda with Andersen is an ideal solution so therefore they are currently evaluating how to get the defender this window.

In order for a deal to go through, the Rome based newspaper warn that Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero needs to accept all of Inter’s demands: “In particular the simple right instead of the obligation to redeem. But, the relationship between Inter and Sampdoria could help and even if the price should land on a number above €30 million (including bonuses) the deal could still happen maybe by adding a young Inter talent such as Zinho Vanheusden.”
