Inter manager Luciano Spalletti is hopeful of recovering Radja Nainggolan and Ivan Perisic to their former performance levels and Perisic will have another chance to recover in tonight’s game with Benevento while the former will not.

“The Ninja is undergoing individual work in order to return at top form at the end of the month. The worst part (being fined and excluded from the roster against Napoli) seems to be behind Spalletti now and the coach again confides in getting back the player that was signed last summer,” they write.

Against Benevento, Spalletti and Inter expect answers from players that have so far been disappointing. First of all there is Ivan Perisic, a player that from August to December has been far from the form he showed with Croatia during the World Cup last summer. It must also be beared in mind that the Croat was more than involved last spring when Inter secured the final Champions League spot. This season there was a lot expected from Perisic and now everything concerning him has to be sorted out, will he continue to be an Inter player or is a move to Premier League possible?

Eyes will be on ‘forgotten’ players like Padelli, Ranocchia, Gagliardini and Candreva tonight with these players having to prove that they are of Inter quality. Finally Dalbert will have yet another chance to impress.

Here is the probable starting lineup for tonight’s match according to Tuttosport.

INTER (4-3-3): Padelli; D’Ambrosio, Ranocchia, Miranda, Dalbert; Gagliardini, Borja Valero, Joao Mario; Candreva, Martinez, Perisic.
