Inter coach Luciano Spalletti analyzed the goalless draw against Sassuolo in the Serie A when speaking to Inter TV after the match at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district.

“We have to show a bit more quality in attack, but we also lost a lot of possession that made us lose a lot of energy. Something went wrong every time that we had possession, we were not good enough when we got possession and they were able to line up their defense perfectly. At times we should have moved the ball around more instead of going for the deep pass.”

First a draw against Sassuolo, now there an away match against Torino?

“As always, we have to go to Turin and play our game and show our force. Trying to find the right conditions in order to win against a difficult opponent that had a good game against Roma. But there is no other way to doing this.”

How did you experience the San Siro being full of kids?

“Very nice, very beautiful. It was easy to hear their cheering from a crowd that wanted nothing else but to enjoy the game. A stadium full of love for football.”

Is it exaggerated to say that this kind of game last year, was one you would have lost?

“Yes, you could also have this kind of approach to this kind of game. I say that the team is working hard and well, but we still have to grow a bit. The expectations are great, therefore any result that is not a victory becomes a disappointment.”
