LionRock Capital became the minority shareholder of Inter on January 25th, after buying out Erick Thohir and according to Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, the fund will send over its selected representatives to officially join the clubs board of directors on February 18th.

“On the Monday before the first leg against Rapid Vienna in the Europa League, there will be an assembly at the Meazza to transfer the necessary articles of association when a change in the board is made, followed by the official appointment of the new members from the fund”.

On this date Erick Thohir’s representatives, Isenta Hiloe and Rudi Setia Laksmana will be replaced by those from LionRock, which may include the founder of the fund himself, Daniel Kar Keung Tseung, who is expected to be in Milan in mid February.

Fans and the world are intrigued to know more about the fund and the role they’ll play in helping Inter reach its objectives, considering Thohir did not help since Suning’s take over.
