Inter have today announced a partnership with Moovit – a company who will assist fans getting to and from San Siro with travel tips.

Moovit will provide fans with a ‘precise and detailed service that is perfectly suited to answer all questions regarding mobility,” the statement on the partnership explains.

Inter chief executive Alessandro Antonello has welcomed the new partnership and went in to further detail about what Moovit will do.

“This agreement with Moovit, the world’s number one public transport app, will help our fans get around cities and allow them to arrive at all the stadiums Inter are playing at, whether in Italy or Europe.

“Users will then be able to identify the best route to get to the Meazza, the Inter Store and all the stadiums hosting the Nerazzurri in a quick and sustainable way, with public transport and sharing available to them. This is an innovative agreement for the Club and something which will allow us to further improve the experience of our fans on matchdays, both when travelling to watch games and then returning home.”

Moovit’s Director of Partnership Samuel Sed Piazza had the following to add about the agreement.

“Inter were the team with the highest average attendance in Italy in the first half of the league season and the only Italian club to be in the top ten in Europe when it comes to attendance figures during the period from August to December 2018. Furthermore, the Nerazzurri are the first Milanese club to have chosen Moovit as exclusive partner for global mobility.

“This agreement represents an ironclad commitment by Inter in support of sustainable mobility and, for us, represents an important recognition of the work that we are doing around the world to facilitate and promote the use of alternative means of transport.”
