Current Italian national team manager Roberto Mancini has spoken on Inter’s recent poor run of form, particularly in league action since the turn of the year.

Since the start of 2019 Inter have collected just one point from a possible nine in league play and are yet to score either.

“Bad runs happen during the season, but Inter are still third. The season is long and during times like these, you have to be strong inside and hang in there,” the former Inter manager said during a press conference as part of Italy’s two-day training camp which Inter duo Roberto Gagliardini and Matteo Politano will be involved in.
