Genoa goalkeeper Andrei Radu has distanced himself from the recent rumours linking him with an Inter return in the upcoming Summer transfer window.

“For now I am thinking only about Genoa. I will always be grateful to them because they gave me the opportunity to play in Serie A. I am just thinking about doing well here,” he insisted in an interview with broadcaster Sky Sport.

The Romanian shot-stopper joined the Rossoblu back in the most recent Summer transfer window with Inter having an option to buy him back for a set-price for the next two seasons. Should Inter pass up on the opportunity this Summer, the price they will have to pay will rise by a few million.

21-year-old Radu has been virtually ever present for Genoa since displacing Federico Marchetti on match day five of the Serie A season and has made 18 appearances in total for the Stadio Luigi Ferraris club.
