Inter coach Luciano Spalletti, held a press conference after the match against Parma where he did not have to talk about what is wrong with Inter at the moment.

“We took to the pitch a bit insecure, like we have been during this tough period. This is something that shouldn’t happen. During the game we made a few wrong decisions, thereby giving Parma a bit of encouragement. Then we turned things around, bringing the game to the wings that we know well, being a bit more constructive and playing with more quality.”

“They always went for their attackers, like they are used to and that made us a bit vulnerable because we did not put constant pressure on them. Turning to the second half, we played with more confidence and better security, we just lacked the final touch. Lautaro found that. We won a game during a tough period against a tough opponent.”

What do you think of Nainggolan and Perisic’s performances?

“All in all they played a good match, but Perisic reacted as a true champion given what has surrounded him for the last couple of weeks. Only those with great characters manage to pull off these kind of performances. Nainggolan had a great match considering his physical problems, not much is missing until he is back to the level we are used to seeing him on. Also great game from Brozovic and Vecino, never having any problems. Tonight, we say good job to those players and it becomes fundamental in order to get back to the winning path.”
