In an interview with Radio Rai, Parma manager Robert D’Aversa commented on the tough loss against Inter last night.

“We played a bit deeper since we were playing against a team with a lot of qualities. Inter is a team well equipped and we missed too many opportunities in the attack. My regrets are mostly from the first half where we had two sensational opportunities, but also that the goal of Inter came during one of our best periods in the second half. A bad result, especially since the lads had a good performance overall.”

D’Aversa then spoke on Lautaro Martinez’s goal for Inter; “We made a mistake in midfield, it is not a question of how we set up the team, Inter did good in exploiting the situation that arose. Nothing changes from this, our goal is still to remain in Serie A. Our only regret from last night is that we made a good performance against a good opponent and got nothing from it.”
