Mauro Icardi’s outspoken wife/agent has come to the defence of the former Nerazzurri captain via social media.
The 25-year-old striker was stripped of the captaincy on Wednesday and then refused to travel to Vienna with teammates for last night’s Europa League match with Rapid Vienna.
“You taught us what it means to dream, to suffer, to fight, to sacrifice, to cry, to fight, to evaluate, to fly, to be and live out of love. He who chooses with his heart never makes mistakes,” she posted to her official Instagram account.
