As per a report from La Repubblica, a swap deal between Inter and Juventus involving Mauro Icardi and Paulo Dybala could be in the offing this Summer.

“Marotta is already working on such a deal, and it is obvious that he turned to Juventus, the club that negotiated with Wanda Nara last year and had a clear strategy of replacing Higuain with Icardi before Cristiano Ronaldo decided to sign for the Turin club.

“12 months later it seems unlikely, but it is true that Paolo Dybala is one of Marotta’s favourite players. In Turin, Dybala is not considered untouchable, instead he is considered as market piece that could finance Juventus’ summer market.

“Dybala’s market value is similar to Icardi’s at around € 100 million. For Inter this could be a convenient exchange, but at the moment an attacker is not amongst Juventus priorities.  At least not as long as they have Ronaldo and Mandzukic (or someone like him).

“Icardi is another type of attacker, he isn’t dependable on a wing man and isn’t that included in the build-up. Instead, Juventus are after an attacking winger and the names that pop up are Kylian Mbappé of PSG and Mohamed Salah of Liverpool. A player in their calibre is worth twice the value of Icardi and Dybala. What is certain is that Maurito is highly esteemed in Turin and he was a priority before a certain Portuguese number 7 became their highest priority.”
