Antonio Candreva has looked ahead to tomorrow’s Europa League match with Rapid Vienna, a match he knows is important, especially for the sake of the objectives the team has for the rest of the season.
“The recent victories have allowed us to work at our best,” he told Inter TV.
“We know the importance of tomorrow’s match and we will not underestimate anyone.
“We will take to the pitch to win.”
He continued: “The last victory was a victory that came from our recent anger and we wanted it until the end. We have to start from there and from the other previous victories.”
Candreva then discussed what kind of game he is expecting tomorrow.
“I expect a difficult match,” he said.
“Every match must be tackled with the right approach. We must not rest on the advantage we have.
“For whatever reason we could suffer to Rapid so we have to play our game and approach it in the best way we can.”
In conclusion, he was asked what his goals are to which he responded: “The common goal of the team is to honour the shirt every time we put it on, finish the season in the best way possible and progress in Europe.”
