Inter captain, Samir Handanovic spoke to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia after the 3-3 draw against Fiorentina in the Serie A at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

What do you think about the D’Ambrosio episode?

“Everybody saw what happened, first of all there was a foul on D’Ambrosio, then there wasn’t a penalty. There is no need to talk about it, you can see what happened.”

Is the worst part that you couldn’t close the game immediately?

“Absolutely, at 1-3 up I wouldn’t say that they were gone, but they were behind the ball all the time. Then that free kick from Muriel opened up the game. For third goal we were a bit too deep. There were some errors, from all of us.”

You mentioned Muriel’s free kick, did the wind fool you a bit?

“Yes, the wind gave it a some velocity and difficulty. You could see that, he also said it. But he hit it in a perfect manner, a great goal but on my side of the goal.”

Any comments on the general approach from the team?

“Also today, we had the right spirit. We immediately went under with a goal, but we kept everything together and came back. For us, this was a fundamental game, this time we didn’t get the three points but already we are thinking about the next game.”

What happened has made you focus even more?

“Now we are angry, no furious. But this is something normal.”

And everything with Icardi, is that something that has united the squad?

“We can’t keep on talking about this thing every day.”
