Inter full back, Cedric Soares, shared his views and opinions about tonight’s 0-0 game against Frankfurt in an interview with Inter TV post-match.

“Tonight we played very well and we could have even won the game if the penalty, although well-struck, was not saved by their keeper. In the second half we were suffering a lot more, they created a lot of chances, but I think that this is a good result to head back home with.

“We defended as a team because they had a lot of offensive options and had  many players in the offensive zone. Keep in mind that this is the first match out of two in this series, now during the second part of the challenge we get to play in front of our fans.”

He was then asked about Lautaro Martinez and Kwadwo Asamoah who will both miss the return leg through suspension.

“There will be some important players absent, but we will certainly find solutions to cope with that.”
