Inter and Mauro Icardi will reach a truce but at the end of the season the parties will go their separate ways according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

Tensions between the parties have been high in recent weeks due to Icardi being stripped of the Inter captaincy and then opting not to play in the time since.

Inter are seeking a solution to the problem due to not wanting to see Icardi’s value plummet with a view to selling him on in the Summer transfer window.

The report from the Milan based newspaper goes on to report that club president Steven Zhang’s early return from his business in China could help a solution be found quicker.

Last week Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta sat down with Icardi and his wife/agent Wanda Nara and Zhang is expected to sit down with the couple shortly with it believed that Icardi wishes to specifically speak with the person who is at the top of the club in Zhang.
